CITY MARKET
The mostly abandoned Northwest quadrant of the National Landmark Historic District was reborn with this urban redevelopment. Completed in 1988, it consists of four urban city blocks and Franklin Square, new sidewalks, lighting, seating and signage for City Market.
City Market received the Presidential Citation Design Award, American Institute of Architects in 1990.
