RIVER STREET
This historic landmark, also known as the Rousakis Riverfront Plaza, was in-part created by Robert D. Gunn and Eric Meyerhoff, the founding principles of Gunn Meyerhoff Shay Architects. The current day plaza was once proposed to be a parking lot, much to Gunn and Meyerhoff’s disapproval. Thirty-two years later, River Street is one of Savannah’s major destinations.
