Nick Gogal was born and raised in Virginia where he eventually relocated to Athens, Georgia. At a young age his grandfather introduced him to engineering and architecture and Nick knew this is what he needed to do. Nick graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2017 with his Bachelors of Architecture and a minor in Architectural History. In 2019 Nick completed his Master of Architecture at SCAD before joining the team at GM Shay. Nick’s upbringing on the farm in Virginia and his passion for interaction and collaboration make him a key member of the team. He enjoys pushing the boundaries of space planning by bringing innovative and creative ways to get spaces to bring people together.
