Architect, GMSHAY

Caitlin was born in Pennsylvania and raised in Kentucky.  From an early age she became fascinated with architecture and the built environment, and dreamed of making the world around her better through design. After visiting Savannah and falling in love with its charm, she moved to the city and enrolled in the architecture program at the Savannah College of Art and Design.   After graduating, with first her Bachelor of Fine Arts and then her Master of Architecture, she quickly jumped at the opportunity to gain experience designing and managing projects from concept to completion for the City of Savannah.  She has worked on an array of civic projects including fire stations, recreational facilities, community centers, and the preservation of historic municipal buildings. Now with Gunn Meyerhoff Shay, Caitlin will bring her experience in project management and design to both our new and historic projects throughout the community.
