After carefully studying the iconic Owens-Thomas House and the historic President’s Quarters Inn, we are proposing this design for the area currently devoted to a surface parking lot. This will complete Oglethorpe Square with a building that respects its neighbors and favors compatibility over differentiation. This design will also provide a sustainable economic purpose that can afford to restore the President’s Quarters building in an authentic way, and maintain the overall development for generations to come.
